# Welcome to Symphony!

## Introduction

Symphony (prev. Cadence Protocol) is the first chain abstracted perpetuals aggregator system that allows a user to trade any asset across any chain instantly without needing to bridge assets, sign multiple transactions, etc.

Symphony tackles liquidity fragmentation and the currently poor user experience in Web3 to revolutionize the DeFi ecosystem.

This is done through Symphony's tech stack that utilizes account abstraction and intent-based architecture to enable chain agnostic trading, lower fees, unified liquidity across protocols, enhanced capital efficiency, and improved scalability versus current traditional solutions.
